The post-baccalaureate to doctorate in speech-language pathology (SLP.D.) is a dual admission program in which the student is admitted to both programs. Within a four-year period**, the admitted individual completes the requirements for the Master of Science degree in speech-language pathology and the requirements for the doctorate. The master's degree is conferred once the student has satisfied the academic and clinic requirements. While completing the doctoral requirements, the student completes the clinical fellowship year and is eligible for the certificate of clinical competence, state licensure where required, and the clinical fellowship year. The M.S. component is campus based and the doctoral component may be completed via distance.
