The master's degree programs in speech-language pathology and in audiology are accredited by the Council for Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
The Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders provides academic and clinical course work needed to meet the ASHA clinical certification requirements in either Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology. A minimum of 30-33 semester hours of credit, excluding practicum and internships, is required. Students may pursue this degree as either a thesis or nonthesis option. Students in the nonthesis option will complete additional coursework in lieu of the thesis. The typical length of the program is 24 months.
