The master of education in special education program prepares candidates as teachers of students with disabilities. Special education teachers address the professional challenge of designing instruction that meets the needs of children and youth with disabilities.
Special Education offers emphasis areas in Teaching Students Who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, Teaching Students with Visual Impairments, Instructional Specialist Birth through 4th Grade, and Instructional Specialist 4th through 12th Grade. The program includes some online components.
